John 11:51-53

⁵¹ He spoke this, not of himself, but being High Priest that same year, he prophesied that Jesus would die for the nation;

⁵² and not only for the nation, but that He would gather together the children of God who were scattered.

⁵³ Then, from that day forth, they plotted to put Him to death.
